10-19 New house update

Here are some updated pictures. Sorry that I haven't posted any lately, but the house didn't look that different. On Monday they should be bricking the house and finishing the sheet rock stuff inside. They poured our cement last week which I was very excited that the weather was good. It's coming along!!!

Knock yourself out!

I was holding Drew on the couch while he was falling asleep for a nap. I heard something hit the family room window. At first I thought it might the kids throwing something at the window. But they wouldn't be home from school for another half an hour. So I went and put Drew in the bed and went outside to see what it was. I found this little bird just sitting there. At first his eyes were closed but I could see that he was still breathing. I checked him about 20 minutes later and he had his eyes open and kind of turned his head to look at me. Then I went and got Luke so he could see the bird. I took this picture to show Taylor and Miles. I checked again a half an hour after I took the picture and he had left. I looked at our window, and sure enough there is a spot with bird feathers. I sure didn't think that out window was that clear!

New house 9-13-07

We went to the house this week and checked it out. I haven't been there for two weeks, so it was fun to see what's new.
I think the boys are going to love living next to all the new houses being built. Trucks and diggers and all that boy stuff!

The windows are in and the outside doors are being put in too. Now I'm not so scared that Drew is going to fall out a window. :-)

It's looking great!

Byu Trip!

We had a great time going with Joel and Angel Hair to the Byu vs Ucla game. It would of been better if they won but it was still a great game to watch. We went to Mark's Aunt and Unlce's house before the game and had lunch with all his cousins. And then headed to the game about 2 HOURS early. There were a lot of people tail gating.

We hit the beach a couple days before the game.

We also saw the Temple while we were touring the coast. It was a great get away!

Richard (Mark's cousin) and Mark are two of the biggest fans I know!

Our seats were on the 47 row. But before the game Joel and Mark went down low to watch the players warm up. No one came and kicked them out of the seats so they called Angel and I down and we sat on the 4 row the rest of the game. They were awesome seats!

Angel and Joel are going to be our new next door neighbors. It was fun to spend time with them.

Angel taught me how to really shop. She is the Queen!

Dawson wasn't feeling very well so he just hung out well Kim and I visited!
Gaven doing some tricks on the couch.

Maddie was so sweet. It was too bad that Drew was taking a nap.

Gaven, Luke, and Max said that sponge bob was up side down!

It was so fun to have Kim come and visit. Sorry to say it was a short visit but we made the most of it!

Update on new house

Here's the kiddies in front of our house. They love to go and look at their new bedrooms.
Sorry that there isn't more pictures, the camera died. This picture is from the top of the stairs looking in to the front room. I love standing here. One of my favorite places so far!

Puppies!

The kids loved the puppies. My mom has a lady at work that's dog had puppies and said that we could come and visit them. Taylor wanted to take one home. I told her to save her money. These puppies cost $500.00 each. Plus when I told Mark we were going to see puppies he said,"just don't come home with one." So there wasn't a choice. We sure did have fun! Thanks Grandma!

Aulani comes to visit!

What a cute couple! It was fun hanging out with the girls.

Aulani is such a sweet baby. She let the boys love her to death!

Drew had to hold her first!

Luke held her and held her, I had to tell him to share!

I got a turn after a while. We loved having Tasha and Aulani come to play!

Luke's first day of Preschool

Luke is already to go to school. He had to take a water bottle
because Taylor and Miles take one. He's growing up so fast!
Drew had to get his picture taken too.
Luke was a good brother and found him a backpack to wear.
Wendy is our bus driver she took Luke to preschool last year too.
When we move all the kids will get to ride the bus.
Taylor and Miles are excited about that!

Drew had to get his picture taken with the bus too or
I think he would of cried.
He would of got on the bus but he has a few more years.

The big kids are in school. It will be different around the house.
Drew and I won't know what to do with ourselves.

Youth Conf.

We played the game "Do you love your neighbor?" and "Honey I love you!" It was a nice last trip before school starts and the world starts up again.

There was lot of animals that came to the camp to visit. I saw this deer which was pretty cool. But others said that they saw moose, a deer and her babies, and one night a bear came into the camp and looked through the garbage cans. Grateful that no one was hurt.

I went to Youth Conf. this week. Sorry not a lot of pictures but it was still fun. We were at the Heber Valley Camp which was like a resort compared to girls camp last week.

Miles first day of 1st grade

Unlike Taylor, Miles doesn't have very many kids that he knows in his class. It will be a great time for Miles to grow and learn how to meet new friends.

Luke is never far from Miles. Where Miles is there you will find Luke. Luke wanted to go to school with him so bad. But next week he starts, so he'll be okay.

Miles wasn't so sure about a full day of school. He said "Mom what am I going to do about lunch?" He is a picky eater. But glad to say that this week has been fine. Even today he came home and told me how much he liked school! So we couldn't be happier.

Taylor's first day of 3rd grade

Out the door, ready to learn!!

Taylor was so excited to wear her new clothes. This outfit was her favorite.

Kacey Rollins, Allie Franz, Taylor, McKenna , McKayla,
Noah Turner, Jake Wilson, and Lexi Sornsen

Hannah Hakanson, Allie Franz, and Taylor

Taylor was so excited about being in 3rd grade.
This year she has a ton of kids that she knows in her class.
So it should be fun!

Evening event for Granger's 10 year reuion

Holly Henessy and Joann

Mat Pett and Joann
Joann and Achele Peterson

Holly and Mike Henessy

Steve and Sherice Angell and Joann and Mark

I loved getting all dressed up. I don't think Mark minded it either .It was fun to see new faces that didn't make it to the afternoon part. Of course I was voted person that had the most kids! My prize was a CD on how to talk to your kids about SEX! But the funniest thing was that two different people came up to Mark and asked if he was Boyd Madsen! Now that's funny!
