I've Been Tagged!

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

10 Years Ago: I was about to be married in a month. We were pretty much done with the planning, just waiting for the day!!

5 Things on my To-Do List today: Easy day today. Straighten up and wipe everything down, take Taylor to dance, go to the Temple.(It's Stake Temple day)

Snacks I enjoy: Fruit and Chocolate!! They can be mixed together too.

Things I would do if I were a billionaire: Invest it, hire someone else to clean my house, go on trips with my family, and donate some to Granger High School and Snow College.

3 of my bad habits: I'm late most of the time, I talk without thinking sometimes and if someone ask my kid a question I answer it.

5 places I have lived: West Valley (growing up), Ephraim (College), Holladay (first married), West Jordan (Condo by Redwood RD and house over by Copperhills High School) and South Jordan (Now!)

5 jobs I have had: I babysat growing up, I worked at an after school program called RAD (That was a fun job.), the testing center at Snow, JC Penny's (While I was home for Christmas in College) and Cyprus Credit Union as a Teller (while I was pregnant with Taylor).

5 things people don't know about me: I know how to say my ABC's backwards, I had tubes in my ears twice while I was little, I had blonde hair when I was little, I'm taller than my Mom (I know Taylor is going to be taller than me in two years) and I can do a back flip on the trampoline.

Now I tag Katy B., Katie C., Sara F., Karen F., and both of my kids!!

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." ^^ Authored and published by Marianne Williamson

Elk

We took the bigger kids with us this time! And I got better pictures!
Taylor's friend Julia was over and they wanted to go and see the animals.

The Elk are amazing.

Taylor and Julia loved the horses.

Everyone loved petting the horses. I hope the owners don't mind.

The Buffalo are amazing to see close up. Lovely smell might I add! But worth it.

Bison

Today we took a walk to see the Elk and Buffalo. We have tried it before but it was way too cold. I know you can't really see the Buffalo but I didn't want the boys to get too close to them. They love this walk because there are also some horses on the way. Next time we'll have to bring an apple or two.

Luke and Drew saying Hi to the Buffalo.

Here are all the lady Elk. I'll try next time to get a picture of the boys they are very cool to see.

Valentine Crafts

Here are a couple of fun craft ideas that I have found and thought I would share.
My kids loved this one. Get a bar of soap and paint the top only, then paint Gulf wax on the top. It was one that all my kids could do and took their time doing it.

I saw this one in the a family magazine. You take you broken crayons and put them in small heart molds. (Which Target has for 3 for $2.50, but they are for ice cubes so I didn't put my in the oven.) Melt slowly in the mircowave. (Will you be my Valentine, for crayon out loud!)

This one was really easy and Taylor and Julia loved being LOVE BUGS!

Pencil Valentines are alway fun!

Decorating is the best part. It brings the spirit of the Holiday home!

Fun in the Snow!

We had so much snow on Sunday that they cancelled Church. Everyone was snowed in. The wind blows so much that in some places there was inches and other places there were feet.
The kids didn't mind, they loved playing in the snow.

Bennett's come to play!

Bart, Katy, Beau and Knox came to play. We had so much fun!
Miles really liked Knox.

Beau and Drew won for being the best eaters! Who knew?

Knox show off his new crawl. His Mom and Dad are in trouble now!

Drew thought that he was so big that he could hold Beau on his lap. I think they are only a couple months different. He is so funny!
Thanks Bart and Katy for coming over. We sure miss you guys!
